"We were given a pet friendly room, though we didn't request one and weren't traveling with a pet. Our room was in a basement area; the windows were above ground, but we definitely felt like it was a basement and there were several steps to get to it. Despite assurances from the hotel clerk, we could smell pet odors and a strong odor of cleaning products. We requested a room change but were charged extra for it. The toilet was awkwardly close to the bathroom door, and we kept banging into it. The clerks were friendly enough, but I wouldn't recommend staying here.2018-12-03"
