"The room was clean but needed fresh paint, and the bathtub needed to be fixed. The ice machine on the 1st floor was out of order. Only sugary drinks were available. The hotel grounds were filthy, and there were cigarette butts everywhere. There was no place to walk a dog, and people didn't pick up after their pets. The night clerk was rude and unfriendly. My husband slipped and fell out of the shower, tearing the shower curtain; I informed the front desk so we could get a new shower curtain and was disappointed that no one even asked if my husband was OK.
